 |  September 27, 2012Dear Sirs, Just a note to say how impressed I was over the results of the ad I placed in the August 31 issue of The Hawkeye Trader. I had 26 phone calls including Kansas City which is over 250 miles away, concerning the 1939 Chevy street rod I advertised. Sold the car to a gentleman from Centerville, IA who came and looked at the car. He was one of 7 people who came to look at the car. | Dear Hawkeye Trader, Thank you very much for the tickets to the Iowa State Fair's truck and tractor pull. My dad and I had a really great time watching all the excitement, especially since he used to pull in these himself back in the day. | hey hawkie just wanted to let u know that we had a great time at the fair yesterday....we saw a guy wrestle a 8 foot long alligator, bengal tigers, my daughter rode a zip line...and we had some awesome fair food....and we saw the largest chocolate moose it looked so good...so again thank u for the tickets.... | To everyone at the Hawkeye Trader: I want to thank you for the great PBR Event tickets that you gave us as winners of your contest. They arrived two days after I got the news that my Las Vegas PBR Championship tickets wouldn't be available. I was so relieved to see that I could see the PBR in Des Moines instead! | Dear Hawkie, Thank you for the tickets for the Worlds Toughest Rodeo. I went with my friend, Dad and Grandpa. It was my first time going to a rodeo-we had a GREAT time! The seats were awesome. My favorite part was the bull riding, there were some crazy bulls! I also liked the clown. I really liked it when he crawled in the barrel and got hit by a bull.
